The TPMM is dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of polka music in Texas by honoring bands and musicians of Czech, German and Polish ancestry. Texas polka DJs are also honored for their contribution to preserving polka music. he exhibits feature instruments, photos, costumes, histories and music of Texas polka bands. To raise funds, the museum has produced three volumes of polka music CDs. Each one features a spectacular lineup of music.
